Established in 1997, SOWM is an inspiring community of spiritual and genuinely committed people from across the country and around the world.
The School Of World missions, Ghana was founded in 1997 in the port city of Tema under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Sagoe-Nkansah. He was led by the Holy Spirit to develop a curriculum for training church planters. Out of this curriculum emerged the School of World Missions, Ghana (SOWM). The vision of SOWM is to equip all African believers who sense the call of God to serve as missionaries to the nations of the world. The institute believes the time has come for the African church to contribute significantly to the global missionary force. Since its founding, the students of SOWM have planted churches in Ghana, Libya and Gambia.
In 2010, a temporary SOWM campus was established at the GREDA Estates, Teshie. Under the corporate guidance of its experienced faculty members like Dr. Andy Delor and the Advisory Board and its Chairman Dr. Albert Saah, the school has put together a curriculum that has the potential to transform the ministries of its trainees.
